Great short sale guide! May 31, 2009
By Jane I'm a new real estate agent and due to the recent drop in the market, short sales are becoming an essential part of my business. I have bought a few books and one very expensive course, but the information was mostly fluff and frankly not very practical. I found this book to be very concise and more helpful than the other books I purchased. I heard the author speak, and because he is a lawyer and mediator, he adds a level of experience I haven't found with others. The book is very easy to read, and I highly recommend it.

Sales Pitch for the Short Sale Business Manuel Aug 17, 2009
By AZRealtor
"Certified Short Sale Negoiator"
This book has some interesting and useful information to organize your short sale listings. However every page references multiple times, the very expensive "Short Sale Business Manuel". It is more of a teaser to get you to buy that. The only place I could find it was on Kenneth R. Lawson's website. If you are new to Short Sales, I would not recommend this book unless you want to fork out a lot of money for the Manuel which contains the forms and pertinent information to executing an actual short sale. Take a certification class through your local association.

Invaluable tool for working short sales Jul 14, 2010
By Geneva J. Stubblefield I have been working with realtors on short sales for the past 5 years. I've attended multiple short sale seminars. You learn something from every resource available to you. "Short Sales and Loan Modifications" has been an extremely valuable tool for me. I recommend also buying the Short Sale Business Manual. Mr. Lawson has provided SO many concepts and forms to his readers with these two resources. He mentions over and over the liabilities involved in working with short sales that everyone should know - and explains what to do about those liabilities. His no-nonsense approach to the pitfalls and pleasures of short sales validates what I do for the homeowners and realtors. My copy of the book is falling apart because I refer to it so often - I need to order another copy. I highly recommend "Short Sales and Loan Modifications" to anyone beginning short sales and to those who have been doing them for awhile.
Invaluable Resource for Anyone Doing Short Sales Nov 28, 2011

My partner and I have been working with short sales for over five years, and have attended many seminars and invested a lot of money learning my craft. This book is my most valuable resource. I keep it within arm's reach because I am constantly referring to it. This book is the MOST REALISTIC information about short sales I have ever found! I also recommend his manual with his forms. I have created my own forms based on the information he gives and I think they are priceless.
Excellent Short Sale Primer! Mar 25, 2010
By Success Junkie
"LarryPotter"
For those interested in short sales, Ken's book is an excellent primer. I have been investing in real estate since 1984, but never really got involved with short sales. This book has quickly brought me up to snuff on this tantalzing aspect of real estate investing.
