4A great book to learn Siebel 8  Feb 05, 2009
I am the author of this book and I spent almost two years on this title with only one goal in mind--bring useful knowledge to readers. Siebel is not an easy system to use or configure so I want to share my experience. If you are looking for a book that can help you to build a solid foundation, this is a book for you.

Regarding grammar errors in the book: while we've spotted a couple of those (though hardly the shocking number that one reviewer implies exist), they will be corrected in any future editions of the book. No editor is perfect. Please rest assured that none of the errors should hinder a reader's ability to understand the book's technical content, all of which is accessible and accurate.

3Content decent - lots of errors  Dec 16, 2008
As far as I can tell the information about Siebel is accurate (do not yet have access to Siebel). However, there are many errors that an Editor should have caught. Which makes me wonder how factually accurate the book is. I have never seen a publication with so many gramatical errors. A $60.00 book should be able to afford a decent editor!

This book is a slow read. The author jumps around alot. If there were other Siebel books out right now, I would recommend trying them first...
