1Missed the Signs.....  Nov 06, 2009
By Rochelle Sedran
Perhaps the author was on painkillers from his accident when writing this book? To interpret the first chapter of Ezekiel as a sign of impending nuclear war when the Bible clearly states in Ezekiel 1:28, that "this was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the Lord" (NIV) is blaphemous. (When you take the text out of context, you are left with a con!) To use television to confirm God's word is dangerous. And using rock and roll lyrics for the same purpose is just plain crazy (these lyrics were written by drug addicts-is that the best source of wisdom you can find?). This book is fiction, and dangerous fiction, as it leads people away from the truth of God. The Editor's endorsement is irresponsible and he knows it. Who ever heard of an "anonymous" editor giving an endorsement? If he truly believes the book is "non-fiction", "truly astonishing", "complete for the scholar", and a "must for all Christians", why wouldn't he sign is name to his endorsement? I think that says it all. Let's make some money at the expense of souls!
"In the past God spoke to our forefathers through the prophets at many times and in various ways, but in these last days He has spoken to us by His Son..." Hebrews 1:1 (ie Christ is the LAST prophet)
"Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world." 1 John 4:1
When reading any "prophetic" book, look to see if it lines up with the Bible. Better yet, just read the Bible-everything you need to know is in there.

1Troubled mind for troubled times  Sep 27, 2009
By Shazing
Sadly, I read this book after meeting the author. On my meeting with Everett he was articulate, passionate and seemed very sincere, he also gave me the book for free. Everett Triplett is a contractor from a little place in Nevada only known by its residence and anyone who lives close enough to have heard it mentioned. He has had a good life filled with very little excitement or adventure. One day the books hero, Everett fell from a building, he had a compound fracture and the closest thing to a near death experience.

Now here is the most interesting thing about the book. Needing a reason for this tragically random event he creates reasons or sees "Signs" for his fall. The book does not say it out right but there are no coincidences. Each Coincidence starting with the, "fall" is a sign from God to Everett. Everett sees signs in everything he reads, watches on television and in people he talks to. Ultimately the bible passages have become coded messages to Everett explaining the next World War. Even Everett is mentioned in the bible as the "watcher". Everett's need to explain this mundane accident; however meaningful event in his life has taken him from a simple laborer to an oracle.

Often people need reasons for a tragic loss or event it is a kind of psychic bandage of the soul. Sometimes events are not coincidences. Sometimes a coincidence is just that a coincidence. If two fly's land on a cows rear-end then they both fly away nothing cosmic happens. Zealots often think only in absolutes.

4Signs: Tribulation: World War III  May 27, 2011

When I was given this book to read, it ruined my sleep, but made thnk.
If you think this is the End Times or are losing sleep because of what you see in the world, read Signs: Tribulation: World War III. It kept me awake. Using the outline of the end times story to impart information that is good advise, the author shows you how to be prepared, like the boy scouts. Weather, wars, earths quakes, or just a fire come upon all of us at some time, being prepared means you survive, while others don't.

As for the Christians and Jews alike, this book is a real eye opener. His point of view is that God fearing men and women have a job to do. God has used people in the past to do his will, and he can/will use even the Jonahs' of our time. The Sign of Jonah's is upon all of us. As in Jonah's story, God fearing men and women, who try sitting it out waiting for God's End Times, may well find themselves treated like Jonah, a very revolting development. Better to be found working preparing for the worst, and hopeful for the best. Being prepared means you don't have to suffer a living Hell on Earth, you just have to work like Hell to be ready.

The author may have made a fool of himself, imparting his story, but I love such foolishness and it cheap life insurance against disaster. The book reads fast and easy, yet I found myself wanting to go over it again like a guide book.

Even though Signs: Tribulation: World War III tells of dark days ahead, I came out at the reading of it, more hopeful and encouraged. I hold no illusions about the upcoming times we face. Every man, woman, and child needs have a mind set to be prepared to help themselves during bad times. Government will not help you; you have to do it yourself.
