An evocative adventure you will feel part of. Nov 23, 2007

"Mieke"
This is a well crafted story clearly built from a foundation of real knowledge and thorough research. So while the adventure is a gripping, can't put it down piece of fiction it is grounded in an important awareness of more serious issues such as the environment and politics. The most delightful thing about reading this book was the feeling of being a part of the story - isn't that the gift of any good fiction! Annemarie Rolls
Page turner Jun 08, 2009

"Book Sleuth"
I bought this book to read on a holiday in Fiji, thinking that I might read a few pages on the beach. I started the book as the plane took off, and read non stop till finished. A terrific read with all the exotic elements of Island life, well crafted and witty. But more than anything this book is a rollercoaster ride at full speed through the Islands, pausing only for the occassional romantic interlude. A must read.

By Ted Scherrer A colorful pageturner with the eloquence of Steinbeck mixed with a little Ian Fleming. The author set you on a nonstop adventure with such lush description that you really feel like you're at Jack Costello's side. A must read for South Pacific romantics!
Put this in the Christmas stocking? You won't be disappointed. Dec 04, 2007
By T. Shand A "can't put it down" read. Includes South Pacific nuclear & ecological issues, stunning descriptions of the beauty of Fiji, a detailed understanding of life in Fiji, a thrilling chase and a great love story. You won't go wrong putting this in the Christmas stocking - or taking it on holiday for that matter. Well worth it.
