This is supposed to be an educational children's book teaching a few different kinds of penguins, or mentioning them anyway, but I thought it was both too wordy and awkward. The story line seemed a bit jagged. There was one detail that could have been used the entire story and it was left out until the middle to the end. I personally didn't like it and my niece couldn't stay focussed. The concept is fine, but the story could be MUCH better. Also the photos were sort of strange some of them looked as if you're looking through a kaleidoscope which just makes them too busy. They are great photos to begin with and I feel the page design ruins the photos.
I regret purchasing this brand new, if I found it for less than $5 instead of $20 it might be worth it.
