This softcover book is ridiculously overpriced. I purchased it to give as a gift to my cousin's three-year-old daughter. She loves to have stories read to her and will be reading herself very soon. I came across this book while browsing and given all of the previous positive reviews I thought it would be perfect for her. Well, the book arrived the other day and I was absolutely appalled by how thin the book was. I flipped through the pages and discovered that all of the pages on the right side had a picture and all of the pages on the left side had ONE sentence. By my standards there is NO way this book should cost $16.99. I have bought books for myself (hardcover no less) that contained more substance and cost less. I was VERY disappointed and have returned the book for a refund. I ended up purchasing two hardcover books for her (one Strawberry Shortcake, one Care Bears) that between them contained 10 separate stories. Those two books together cost me less than $15 locally. She will get much more enjoyment and use out of those books than she ever would have out of "Silly Sophia". Think carefully before purchasing this book - the price is what is really silly.

I purchased Silly Sophia for my little girl, Sophia. It is a super cute story about a little girl who is fully of energy and love, just like my Sophia. This is a great little book for kids. :)

Silly Sophia is a great read for all ages. My son who is 5 1/2 months loves looking at the pictures. The story and illustrations are wonderful! As he gets older he will surely love the story of Silly Sophia's adventures.

I have purchased "Silly Sophia" as a gift for friend's children and they all absolutely love Silly Sophia. They love hearing about Silly Sophia's adventures so much so that it has become a daily read in many households.

Silly Sophia has been a terrific hit with my daughter. We have to read it every night before bed and again when we wake up. She really enjoys the story and relates to the character Silly Sophia. I am not typically one to write a review, but I am truly impressed with this book. I highly recommend it. Enjoy!
