Pure Joy to Read Jun 29, 2006
To Anyone Considering Buying This Book - BUY IT! Its Pure Joy to Read!
If you enjoy reading a book where you are positively transplanted into a different place, a different world and made to feel like you are completely and utterly invested in the character, this is the book to buy and read. Not only is it well written because the story is interesting, unpredictable, sexual and wonderfully witty. My immediate impression of the author is that not only are they talented, but they seem to have a way of touching on life changing, serious issues in a lighthearted way that makes the topics covered hit home to everyone.
Its a great great read. Buy it!

I bought this book based on the reviews, and I wasn't disappointed. Simply Complicated is a wonderful read. I could hardly put the book down. It's hard to believe this is a first novel, and I have to say that I can't look at Range Rovers (well the back seats of Ranger Rovers to be precise) in the same way after reading this book! I've order a few copies as gifts for friends.
I really felt I knew Spencer and The Masked Shagger at the end of the story (I've started a Wiki here and hopefully I'll find time to add more to it). I really hope DC Morgan has more plans for these two great characters.

I enjoyed this book tremendously. It grabs your attention from the very start and holds it throughtout!! The trials and tribulations the main character takes keeps the reader wondering just what is going to happen next!! A GREAT read!!

This first novel gets your attention and keeps it. Filled with humor and heart, twists and turns, it's a fun read with some sobering moments as the "simply complicated" story unfolds. I really enjoyed it.

A Great First Novel May 20, 2006
I understand that this is DC Morgan's first novel. I have to say that I really enjoyed reading the book - it's a real page turner. With something exciting happeing in each chapter, it was hard to put down. If you enjoy romantic fiction with a bit of an edge, this book is for you. I think the book will appeal mainly to gay men and straight women. Highly recommended.
