5Wow!  Feb 08, 2008
By Anjali Shah
I wasn't sure what to expect when I first picked up John Richmond's novel but I ended it thinking, "damn this guy is good."
Mr. Richmond's style of writing captivated me from the beginning and the intricacies of the plot lines made it delightfully easy to avidly immerse myself until the very end.
There are so many aspects of this novel that make it easy for someone like me, who doesn't usually gravitate towards this genre, to remain interested and engaged, including the author's eye for detail, his strikingly clever, insightful and soulful writing style, and deeper stories/meanings of the characters themselves.
Definitely worth the read - and might I say it's been a while since I've finished a 300+ page book in 2 days, so that ought to tell you something! :)

5Couldn't put the damn thing down.  Jan 01, 2008
By L. Roberts
Am a very picky reader. Started reading expecting who-knows-what. Finished it the same day, stiff from not moving. Need I say more? Take a look at the book preview... you'll see what I mean. This is what all my friends got for christmas this year!

4If you like "The Exorcist"...  Dec 22, 2009
By J. Reiner
...then you'll like this book. It's billed as a cross between "The Exorcist", "The Sopranos", and "The DaVinci Code". Having read (and seen) the first, and seen the second, it's definitely true (can't vouch for DaVinci Code, since I've neither seen nor read). There's one plot line that I didn't think was really necessary (won't spoil it for you), but it's not big enough to detract from the overall picture of everybody wrestling with demons, in one way, shape, or form. If you scare easily, this book's not for you, but if you enjoy a good scare, with a side order of action, violence, and cursing, this book's for you. All in all, a fun read. Thanks John!

5Incredible book  Mar 12, 2009
By The working mom
This was an awesome book. It captivated me from cover to cover and I couldn't put it down. It was brilliantly written. The content was Stephen King meets Sopranos. I am planning on buying some more to give as gifts. Highly recommended!

4Entertaining and Insightful  Oct 17, 2008
By Eric Martin "History Buff"
This was a very enjoyable read. Richmond weaves a very captivating, and well paced story. I had great difficulty putting it down once I started. His exploration of the nature of evil left me with some questions to ponder.

I would strongly recommend!
