Soaring Free: rescuing and loving a robin fledgling

Soaring Free is an adventurous tale of loving and nurturing a baby robin from a struggling fledgling without any tail feathers to a strong and curious bird ready to fly back into the wild. The story opens with an eager Stephanie convincing her mother to let her rescue a tiny robin who has fallen from the backyard treetop to the ground. With the nest too high to return the young fledgling, the family sets out to nurture the orphaned bird until he is able to survive on his own with 8 year old Stephanie taking the lead. Can the bird be saved? What happens as he grows and his curiosity grows with him? Can he return to the wild? Is he too domesticated? Will the other birds accept him? All these questions and more are answered as the adventure unfolds.
