Delightful eccentric anecdotes Jan 04, 2010

This wonderful quirky collection of short pieces always made me smile and often had me laughing out loud. Menckenesque snapshots of "normal" life make one look from a different angle. I especially liked the ones on the garbage disposal, the war on drugs, and English as a second language. It's a great bedside book for a pleasant thought before sleep or for a relaxing time by the fire. It would also be a welcome addition to any office waiting room but be prepared to chain it to the table if you don't want it to wander away with your clients.
