5What A Surprise!  Mar 24, 2011
By Jean R Van Roekel
I got it...the Cookbook. What a wonderful surprise. I immediately sat down and read it cover to cover. It is the best written cookbook I have ever seen. I have always enjoyed buying cookbooks but most often I don't use to many recipes from them for one reason or another. I can't wait to start trying yours. The recipes are so easy to understand and they all sound delicious. But the most interesting part was how you told a little story with most all the recipes. I loved how you brought to life your family and friends with their recipes. It is so well written and funny. I like the simplicity, the length of the recipes, the stories, the size of the book, the size of the print, the style, the advice and tips and the picture of both of you. Anybody reading your book would instantly feel like they know you. Your book makes me want to cook.
