5From victim to victorious...  Jan 31, 2010
By Mobey
This book is an inspiring chronicle of one woman's journey through the decades from the twenties to the present. She describes how society's changing norms, molestation, and abusive experiences shaped her sexuality and interpersonal relationships. It is a must read for those who have been abused to assure them that they too, can be victors, not victims.

5A Great Book  May 27, 2010
By Grace Cook "Grace"
This is anything but a dry recitation of clinical facts and cold statistics, on the contrary; this book is deeply engaging. Dr. Klassen has written a brave and compelling Case Study of one woman's triumph over adversity. What is especially couragous is that the Testamonial cited in voluminous detail here is in actuality the Case History--of the author herself.

Klassen has led a long, varied and profoundly interesting life, and she pulls no punches and offers her life story with both compassion and unflinching honesty. This documentary style of writing adds an approachability that will appeal to a broad range of readers, both Educators and Laymen. l would whole heartedly recommend this book to those with an interest in either Humanistic Psychology, or Personal Growth and Recovery. For me, this was a very valuable experience.

5powerful and well written  May 02, 2010
By LG "life is good"
This book is very powerful for those who wonder if they are "the only one". Well written, chronicling a lifetime of events that shape a person to who they are today. I would recommend this book to any and all walks of life. I will read this book many times over. Kudos to you Margreta Klassen for overcoming adversity and continuing on to be a strong beautiful woman.
