St. Michael's Orphans

Canada is in a state of political suffering and turmoil. Quebec has seceded, and the French Ambassador to Canada and the president of Quebec’s top aide have been taken as political hostages. These events set the stage for St. Michael’s Orphans, a complex, intriguing novel about a military and political conflict that could threaten Canada’s very survival. Die-hard separatists are infuriated by land agreements under negotiation between the Quebec government and Quebec Cree natives, who insist they are still Canadian. In an effort to ensure Quebec remains independent from Canada, these separatists create a conflict for Canada under the guise of a terrorist group. Canada is in dire need of help, but who will they turn to without relying on international intervention?

5Brilliant!  Aug 16, 2005

As an ex member of the British Airborne I read this book while recovering from a heart attack. Wrong Move! This book actually produced an adrenalin rush!

For anybody who has wondered what it is like to be on the receiving end of either a 5.56 or 7.62 round then this is the book for you and if you have been in that position then this is the closest you will ever get to reliving it.

PS. Who's Tom Clancy ?

5Exceptional Book  Aug 16, 2005
By Bobby "Bob"
I have read thousands of books over the years and I can honestly say that this is by far the best book I have ever read. As a former member of the Canadian Airborne Regiment, I found that all the small details were accurate and the characters were just like the guys and girls I once knew. I usually never read a book twice, however, there is no doubt I will be reading this book again very soon. Although the book is fiction, the incidents could quite easily have happened or could very easily happen.

Hopefully it won't be long before the author writes another book.

Get out of the way Tom Clancy. Your competition has arrived.

5Excellent Book  Aug 15, 2005

This book was exceptional. It will appeal to all affiliated with the military in any way as well as civilians. Although fiction, it certainly makes you think about what possibilities the future holds. A definite page turner. I anxiously await the next book.
