A new Halloween Tradition Aug 04, 2008
Cathee Roehrig has fresh, delightful, full-color illustrations with witty, funny poems that make the entire book just a great Halloween treat for all who read it! This book will definitely be a Halloween tradition in our household every year! Adults, as well as kids, will be tickled by the variety of clever ideas throughout this book, and the theme of the book makes us realize that we really all should be thinking about saving the poor pumpkins from the carving knife! I recommend this collection of poems, and I think it will become a well loved book on anyone's library shelf!

One of the best children's poetry books I've read! Aug 01, 2008
This is definitely one of the best and funniest children's poetry books I've read in a long while. Don't be put off by the morbidity of the title. This book and poetry is done in a fun and light way - sure to make kids laugh. The illustrations are fantastically fun! A must have for a teacher's classroom!
