Strategic Acquisitions, Divestment, and LBO: Global Dealmaking lays down an easy-to-comprehensive structure of mergers & acquisitions and how to work around its ever changing foundation. Dr.Dagher clearly explains topics straightforwardly which is a testament to his expertise in the subject matter and journalism.
As a reference book, it is comprehensive yet compact and easy to comprehend. It attacks the topic in simple format which leaves the reader empowered with the knowledge of how to prevent the pitfalls around following the old school style of management.
Dr. Dagher is able to cut through the complexity of business acquisitions, on both a domestic and global scale, so readers are left with a full understanding of the landscape. It is a must have for business school educators and students and executive management.

A professionally written text which defines otherwise difficult professional terms as they relate to acquisitions, divestures and LBOs.
The format of this text gives the reader a clear insite into both the primary and secondary problems associated with the above areas. IRC and SEC references along with clear athoritative footnoting allows for deeper research relative to the above areas.
The format and structure of this text allows the reader to pinpoint the reader's areas of concern. A must read for the for the business professional who desires a great introduction to the strategies related to acquisitions and divestments.
