Dave Peterson has captured the essence of what one needs when seeking guidance and assurance from the Bible. It's hard to imagine such a fresh perspective of this most familiar of all psalms, but Strength from Psalm 23 provides clarity of the message, phrase by phrase, and expands each concept in a logical, thoughtful way. That clarity is then supported by real world experiences with which every reader will identify. The format of providing a practical prayer that will no doubt connect the reader to the message and give an example for personal prayer at the end of each chapter makes this the ideal devotional guide.
