Longing for the good old days Sep 03, 2008
By Michael Donohue
"drummike46"
Those who remember the good old days fondly will be touched by the homespun philosophy of Mike Quigley in this memoir of growing up in a small-town community. His writing style reminds me of the musings of Garrison Keillor, and his gentle humor takes the reader back to an earlier time when life was harder but the world seemed kinder. Although this is not the type of book that leads to a sequel, I hope this is not the last offering from this author.
