Surely, You have Though of This Nov 03, 2010
By Steven C. Thedford
"Author: The Kwanzaa Coloring Book"
Mr. Page has been able to capture of the mood of America in his book Surly You Have Thought of This. Moreover, he writes words that may be hurtful to readers, I would not write many of his poems. Surprising, the author has not lost faith; he encourages Americans to fight for freedom in his poem "Democracy." Moreover, as you read his poems, you think he's preaching to the choir. In reality the poems awakens the consciousness of readers by making them acknowledge to the themselves what they have been thinking.
Refreshingly Honest Apr 15, 2010
By mandbmom This is a refreshing collection of poetry: not in a light & flowery sense, but in a refreshingly honest way. There are some things in life we just have to look in the face & realize the truth. Many times our society redefines truth so it will be accepted by the majority, or so it will offend the least amount of people. Terry's approach is fabulously direct - at times comical, tongue-in-cheek, and at other times, sadly poignant. Without looking at things honestly, we cannot grow. Our minds cannot expand. Instead of telling us how to think, Terry opens the door to opportunities for us to develop our own opinions, and reap our own knowledge. An intellectual & clean approach to truth - something we cannot, not should not ignore.
A Challenging Title with an Equally Provocative Insite Mar 25, 2010

"Poetess"
"Surely, You Have Thought of This" is an open ended exploration into the mind of the author Terry Page and yet it is a journey into ourselves. The title itself, evokes a Statement as well as a Question that delves deep into our psyche developing a feeling of both uncertainty and curiosity that Must Be Uncovered! Giving off a feeling that "we simply have to know." That is what this book of epic portions of insightful poetry did for me. His work reveals each thread of emotion from the most simplistic of thoughts to the most cataclysmic of "hmmmmmmm's." You are in for a treat!

"Page Fan"
My husband and I ordered this book prior to a ski vacation with 3 other couples. Throughout the entire trip, everyone picked up and read from the book. We were all very intriqued by Terry Pages writing style and thought provocing poetry. We enjoyed this book so much, we ended up ordering another copy to send someone as a gift.
