Suwannee River Odyssey

The continuing saga of a young man as he struggles amid post Civil War choas. Buck Roland is calm, with a temper, religious without ostentation, and willing to follow the right path to the end despite any danger to himself. Hondo, is Buck's giant alter ego. He was a former skull and fistfighter, and fellow soldier. Buck's wife is the daughter of the man he is accused of murdering. Tearing and slicing his way to Florida he continues to search for new roots. He finally tires of the struggle to solve all his associates problems and begins morphing into a leader of men which moves him toward a final, well earned niche, in the South including Florida and Georgia. He is always close to his wife, friends, his great dog Orso and his beloved mustang Cody. He refuses to let his adventures and misadventures change or erode his core values which are loyalty to family, friends, his animals and others who may depend upon him.
