THINK or Lose Everything

How do you eat an elephant? The answer is obvious...one bite at a time. How do you bring down the world's most powerful country? Again, one bite at a time. Not a physical bite, but rather a slow but sure incursion into the religious, moral and educational underpinnings of that country. Gillham's identification of the genesis of this 'inch by inch' erosion of basic American values becomes obvious to the reader. The author's Call-To-Action includes simple remedies that will put America back on track and throw the scroundrels out! If you wake up every day asking yourself...what has happened to the America I grew up in and love? R. Carroll Gillham's THINK or Lose Everything is the prescription for all that ailes you.

1Author now charged with arson!  Jul 30, 2009
The author of this book has recently been arrested and charged with the arson fire of his former employer, Gallery Furniture in Houston, TX. The fire caused more than $20M in damage to the companies warehouse and main store. He is currently being held on $500,000.00 bond in the Montgomery County (Texas) Jail.

As it turns out, this author was fired from this company for running a loan sharking business within the company.

Overall, say what you will about his "thought process" but I'm thinking it should be taken with more than a grain of salt considering these recent developments.

1Author is accused arsonist  Jul 29, 2009
Remember, if you don't like thinking and you're a conservative hypocrite (like this author) you can always attempt to burn down your previous workplace ...another psychotic conservative with no coping skills.

5A Must Have for Conservatives  May 04, 2009
I found out about this book from The Sean Hannity Radio Show. If you are worried about the socialists taking over this country and the GOP you need to read this book.

4An honest look at the things happening in America  Jul 13, 2008
Robert's book was suggested as reading material by the author himself after he saw my opinion on a non-fiction forum. I am so glad he sent me the email.

I did not know I was a "conservative" until I read Robert's view on everything from education to hyphenated Americans and saw that his views match my own on so many topics. I thought I was the only one with such piercing eyesight to see how we Americans are allowing our country to go down by NOT standing up for our own rights. We are becoming "guilty bystanders" in regards to our children's education and the demise of social morality...all in the name of being politically correct and sensitive to other's feelings while not being real enough with each other to say when some things are JUST WRONG!

Robert seems to truly care about what is happening to America. He is to the point about what he knows.

The only thing I disagreed with him on was the chapters on drugs in America. He seems to buy into the "any drug use is addictive drug use" belief that ties back to the "Reefer Madness" days of his generation. Although recreational usage is not a guarantee of addiction, I see where erring on the side of caution is a good thing.

Overall, I rate this book as a good read and a good insight into another generation's view of this generations issues.

Robert's heart is in the right place and I commend him for putting his name on the line and speaking from his heart. Now if we could get our politicians and "leaders" to do the same we may actually make some social progress in this great country of ours.

Read the book. It is short enough to be a nice beach or commute read (with public transportation) and covers enough subjects to give you something to think about later. I liked it and my wife has picked it up to read next.

5Can we still think?  May 05, 2008

This is a "sound bite" time in our history and, as a nation, we are losing our ability to think. The author urges thought, feedback and dialog. What a concept! ghb, Spring Texas
