5The most comforting thing I have read since losing my son.  Mar 28, 2007
By Elaine Yates Ardis "Elaine Y. Ardis"
I am so glad that my sister brought this book to me. It is one of the most comforting things that I have read since losing my beautiful 35-year old son a year ago. My heart goes out to this family and all the mothers who have lost children through death, and to the siblings who are left to live with a special loss. The feelings expressed in this book were so real to me as they would be for anyone who has lost a child. May God bless this family and everyone who has to go through this dark trial. Children are a gift from God to us for just awhile. Thank God I was chosen to be Kevin's mother and to love him for such a short time--and thank God for all the lives he touched along the way while he was here. To have loved and known him was a blessing and an adventure. Kevin was a blessing in his own time--God loved him more. ---Elaine Y. Ardis, Sumter SC
