The Barefoot Bear

Mr. Scallan was born in rural Louisian in 1963. He attended Louisana State University where he earned a BS in physical education and English. After moving to Miami, Florida in 1988, he earned his masters and specialist degrees in educational leadership. Bob is married and has two sons, Dylan and Hunter, who were the inspiration for the Bare Foot Bear. Bob is currently an assistant principal in a south Florida high school.
