The book was difficult for me to read at first and I had to plow my way through it. The author sometimes fills the pages with incredulous concepts, at least for me, which he takes for granted, and most are hard to believe at first reading. I wish he would have spent more time in explaining them, but I think this is part of the learning experience. I have read it 3 times now, and am only beginning to understand the depths of it's truths and brilliance. Actually, the more I think on what he says, the more of what he states becomes understandable. I think this is because of the structure in how we learn things, and it is difficult to tear down the structure, and to learn how to dismantle the things we think we know, but we are wrong.
The book slowly, but starkly wakes you up to this true reality and among other things such as: We are dead, but think we are alive. How do you change your thinking to understand the book until this is no longer speculative to you, and you believe it first among anything else? If you allow the book to do so, it will wake you up from your depths of darkness and deceptions.
I think this is the main them of the book, to wake us up to the fact that we have ALL been greatly deceived, and things for the most part are opposite, or not as what we believe, no matter what we now believe.
I can imagine that it is like, we have all been raised in a cult, and this life and world is the only truth we know. What the author does, almost like an intervention, is keep throwing the actual truth at us, showing us we have been locked in a dungeon of deception all of our lives; until we quit fighting and screaming when we are taken out, and we humble ourselves to the fact that we have ALL been wrong our whole life.
Therefore, this is not a pleasant book to read, especially for your ego, if you truly desire to be woken up from death into life, from grand deception into even grander truth. However, you might have to dedicate yourself into reading it 2 or 3 times as I did, to get woken up to what the true life or reality is. This book will challenge the most brilliant minds of scholars, to the most simple of idealistic thinkers. From Stephen Hawking, to Dr. Seuss.
It is most likely the most important book ever written, other than the Bible. Oh, and he will also change your ideas on how the Bible is structured. The beginning of Genesis is not what you think either. He gets you to look through the eyes of God when God inspired it, not through what we have been taught or believe. For example, the heaven and earth created in Genesis, was not our heavens and earth, but God's spiritual earth and heaven, which is now held in store for us. What Genesis 1 is describing is life in God's spritual realm DAY. Our universe and physical realm was separated out as DARKNESS or Night. Our physical realm, universe, and earth are actually His wastelands, but we see the evidence of everything He is describing of His existence, and his actions on our earth. Everything in the spiritual realm of God, went through a restoration after the separation. This is why we see the constant recycling of life on this earth. The author even points out other scripture references that proves all of this! However, what he also shows is that the Bible is not proving itself, but rather we are proving it through our existence!
You hopefully will have a greater understanding of God and His purpose after you read this book. The author points out and shows us in such embarrassing obviousness, everything we do during our daily lives was already done by God. Therefore, we are incredibly stupid and foolish if we say there is no God, for we prove Him as our mentor, daily, through our own actions and experience. Buy this book for all of your believing and unbelieving friends and relatives. They will thank you eternally for doing so.

The future belongs to people who see possibilities before they become obvious. It belongs to those very travelers who pierce through the clouds of oblivion with the force of their Belief. This book is amazing!
