Just as the KGB was secretive [Black Raven] is a well kept secret May 24, 2010
By John Walcott IF you enjoy adventure, real life stories and the truth. You'll want to read "The Black Raven" We found this book to be very enlightening and an easy read. I've known the author for 45 years, as a man of high integrity and compassion. Charlie has labored for many years to gather these real life accounts of the citizens of the former Soviet Union. I had no idea the depth of trials the people of Russia have lived through. This is a real eyeopener. This book should be required reading for citizens of the free world. Charlie, thank you for your years of labor compiling these accounts for us. We're looking forward to your next book.

By Robert Ballard
"Robert Elias Ballard"
This is an excellent inspirational account of the hardships and persecutions suffered by Christians in The Soviet Union. Written from personal interviews meticulously gathered and recorded by missionary author Charles Hardie while serving in Siberia. A work of love for a people endeared and reflective of the workings of God in a country previously unfriendly to the gospel of our Lord. A great read and the excellent writing skills of Charles Hardie are futhur magnified with photographs of the people whose testimonials are recorded for posterity.
