The Boy and the Prophet

The book describes the encounter of a boy with a prophet, or one who speaks the word of God, in this case the name is Jesus. It can be Life itself. Through the questioning process of a misleading simplicity an intense dialogue takes place. Using pure critical thinking the boy educates himself and grows to find his own spiritual path.

5Prophetic metaphor  Nov 04, 2008
By Richard Wing
I think Pietro is like one of those ancient prophets who called forth their truths in the wilderness. He is clearly "called" to publish these simple, transformational truths in metaphors that model learning and remembering for the reader. The Boy & The Prophet is a mind meal to be relished, rich in memorable epigrams, quotables, and spiritual sayings to store in the depths of your heart. It's an easy, pleasant, child-like read that can guide consciousness shift, from the world of external media toward the infinite wisdom of inner knowing.

5A wonderful book.  Oct 30, 2008
By Hector Raul Bravo Raza
A wonderful book.
The Boy and the Prophet is one of those books we should have close at hand read again and again. Jesus shows Himself in such a spiritual dimension that the child each one of us has will understand it without anybody else interpreting it for us.

Many thanks to the author for this wonderful message of love.

5A TIMELESS ENCOUNTER WITH FRUITFUL RESULTS  Oct 24, 2008
By Godino Ernesto V
THE ENCOUNTER OF THE BOY WITH THE PROPHET LED ME TO MY OWN SPIRITUAL DISCOVERY.
THE BOOK PRESENTS A DIALOGUE WHICH IS SIMPLE AND EASY TO READ.
HOWEVER, THE THOUGHTFUL LINES TAKE TIME TO DIGEST IN THEIR VAST AND
PROFOUND MEANING.
DESTINY, AMBITIONS, DEATH, LOVE, FEAR, TIME ARE SOME OF THE TOPICS
THAT PIETRO GRIECO DESCRIBES WONDERFULLY.

5An outstanding book that everyone should read  Apr 03, 2011
By Joaquin
I think this fantastic book by Mr. Grieco is not a novel. It is a unique book about spirituality. About its truths. And I have observed that some readers (another Amazon review) could not understand this, such as the person who compared The Boy and the Prophet to The Shaft (which is a novel, with characters and action). I have been delighted to find that The Boy and The Prophet focuses each chapter on a specific spiritual topic, following the Socratic method. I have recommended this book to all my friends and family, and think everybody should read it.

5Wonderful Daily Meditation for Changing Times  Jan 10, 2009
By Nicole L. Pugh
"'The Boy and the Prophet' is a beautiful meditation for daily living and for the expansion of consciousness that is so needed on our planet right now. Each chapter enlightens and inspires. Through them, I feel like I know the wise and wonderful and illuminated human being that Jesus was, and in turn I connect with my own humanity. Grieco is part of a wave of writers that are trying to articulate a universal truth within the limited structures of written language. Thanks for writing this wonderful book!"
