In Belle Valley, little league baseball is the biggest sport in town. For years, Benny Warren dreamed of pitching on a little league team and striking out the school bully Mitch. One summer, he finally gets his chance when he plays for a new team called the Tigers, who are coached in an unorthodox manner by Benny's musician father Harry.
