thoughtful and compassionate tale Dec 14, 2008

The story is a novel one: THE BUDDHA IN NEW YORK, for a day, who moves around the island & beyond Manhattan with the people he meets and teaches along the way. The novel gets a little plotty sometimes, but then there will be a little epigram, a little teaching, an opening of the heart, that brings the book & reader back to center.
Read carefully: there is wisdom here.
& Bud's leave taking at the end of the day is so right.
