providing hope is good business! Mar 23, 2009
By Mr. J. Timms Perhaps concise, yet really most intriguing, `The Competition for Hope' gives fresh insights about how leadership may heroically prevent some of the worst effects of our current global recession - because it is based upon real life experiences rather than mere `pet economic theories'.
In the UK newspaper (Times of London 29th January 2009) I read that global unemployment was 190 million people at the end of 2008 but is projected to increase by another 50 million to 240 million in 2009 - as evidenced by the International Labor Organization from Geneva, Switzerland.
As an international businessman I find the book provides very positive information on how to deal with this looming crisis and I recommend it to anyone interested in the economic development of their village, town, country, or international region.
