5Absolutely engrossing!  Nov 22, 2009
This was such a fresh breath of air, something new. Truthfully,I wasn't completely convinced it would be something for me, but I loved it more and more with each turning page. The lessons and values taught are strong and powerful. And such is the hero too. I enjoyed the fact that the hero was an African American. (Which are usually condemmned to be just the sidekick.) He fights the evil with passion to save the planet and human kind, and with the way those fights are described...I believe he will! (This book is the first of a trilogy). The Author shows his fantastic imagination, and manages to capture it picture after picture in words that truly brings the story to life. It would make an epic movie. And if YA and adults (which probably need it more) actually learns and takes the lessons to heart (believe me, they are there and makes you think twice) the world would be such a better place. Highly recommended.

This was such a delightful sight for the eyes of an avid reader!!!I would recommend this book to the young as well as the young at heart who loved the Narnia series. You will be entertained with the imagination of the writer and the truth of the Word as it touches your spirit and searches your heart.
