A great book to read... May 31, 2010

I truly enjoyed reading this book. It is light and easy reading, filled with enough plausible truth to keep one's interest to turn the page and start the next chapter. I concur with the comments have heard from others -- the book is good for all age groups, what are rare event.
Typically I am the consumer who will obtain a good book, will earnestly read about one third of it, and then place it to the side. From that point at best I might read portions of that "good book" over the remaining days / months. This has been my pattern for the past 10+ years. The only exception had been my reading of the Bible. Yet, as my word in my first paragraph implied, this book kept my interest. As a result I can add this book to the list of those I actually read cover to cover.
I suspect future books will be written by this author. When those goals are fulfilled I will be eager to purchase his new publishing's to how well he has retained his special gift to provide us another book all can read - as well as a book all will want to read from the beginning to the end.

This was such a fresh breath of air, something new. Truthfully,I wasn't completely convinced it would be something for me, but I loved it more and more with each turning page. The lessons and values taught are strong and powerful. And such is the hero too. I enjoyed the fact that the hero was an African American. (Which are usually condemmned to be just the sidekick.) He fights the evil with passion to save the planet and human kind, and with the way those fights are described...I believe he will! (This book is the first of a trilogy). The Author shows his fantastic imagination, and manages to capture it picture after picture in words that truly brings the story to life. It would make an epic movie. And if YA and adults (which probably need it more) actually learns and takes the lessons to heart (believe me, they are there and makes you think twice) the world would be such a better place. Highly recommended.

This was such a delightful sight for the eyes of an avid reader!!!I would recommend this book to the young as well as the young at heart who loved the Narnia series. You will be entertained with the imagination of the writer and the truth of the Word as it touches your spirit and searches your heart. It will leave you with a desire for more....
