Unexpected Truth Dec 30, 2008
When you become a Christian and experience the joy and peace of knowing Jesus and then a few months go by and you find that the same old sins and evil thoughts are persisting, it can be devastating. Pastor Rock knocks the ball out of the park from the book of Romans. He shows that our old man must be crucified, which suggests a long, painful struggle that each of us Christians must go through as we allow God to deal with us to overcome sin. It's the Holy Spirits work not ours. Wow! Trust, don't struggle. I can do that! I read the book out loud to my wife and her comment was Pastor Rock brings out God's love and compassion that she had not seen in Romans before.
So many Christians need the information in this book because they live with self condemnation. We're considering using the book for our church home group.

Wonderful Bible Study Dec 10, 2008
This Bible Study by Rock Leier is a wonderful way to go verse by verse through a book of the Bible that looks into the depths of our hearts and reveals so much.
The author gives questions and discussion and this would not only be good for individuals but also a group study.
I highly recommend this book for anyone that wants to go deeper in their spiritual walk.
