A great inside view of a career in academia May 17, 2009 This is a very entertaining collection of brief anecdotal essays that should be mandatory reading for everyone who teaches at the university level. As a matter of fact I would reccommend it to students as well. It has some great insights into what the faculty and administration must deal with in order to provide them an education. With a light-hearted touch and self-deprecating humor Ross Webber reveals some of the pressures and rewards of ascending to the upper echelons of univeristy leadership. Even though I am from the world of corporate management I found this book amusing and informative.
