The Dusty Road

Hi, my name is Staff Sergeant Jimmy Daniels, I wrote this book for kids to show the humanitarian side of what soldiers do while deployed. So often the bad things or combat images are shown by the media. This book gives you an idea about some of the duties we had and some of the friends we made during my deployment to Kosovo. The artwork in the book was created from original photos, "AND IT'S GREAT". My unit was deployed to Kosovo from February 2004 to August 2004, during this time we conducted daily missions and helped a lot of people. I have had some hard times since the deployment, but I'm a very optimistic person an always believe the glass is half full. Thanks for your time and good luck.
