The Enlightened Dad May 09, 2008 My only regret with "The Enlightened Dad" is that it wasn't written three years earlier so I could have been more properly prepared for the onslought of fatherhood. The book's account of those first couple of years of fatherhood are not only hilarious, but hauntingly accurate as well. The fact that Geesen and Allan are shown smiling on the book's back cover is living proof that with the right frame of mind heading into fatherhood, there is hope that you can emerge with at least a resemblance of sanity. This book is a must for "real men" that are heading into fatherhood battle for the first time; but I caution that the book be kept away from the wives so the survival tactics remain our secret.
