The book shows what families have to go through to survive. It is very moving and one of the best books I have ever read. The poems are outstanding. The book moved me to tears and was overwhelming with realism.

I finally had the opportunity to read this book last night. It was incredible! I could not put it down. It was a very amazing story about an amazing woman who despite hardship loved life and family. Thank you so much for sharing the life of your mother and father with all of us. Each of us who reads this book have been given that priviledge of seeing into the lives of your parents and the chance to feel and experience the love and pride that your family takes in this incredible woman. As a friend of your daughter, I can see, after reading your book, bits and pieces of your mother instilled in your daughter. Thank you again for sharing this incredible story with us all.
