The Fibs of Medical Care

'The Fibs of Health Care' is a story about my struggle to get medical care for my wife. This story has nothing to do with money or insurance and everything to do with the dangers that await unsuspecting patients. One health care professional described our experience at The Toledo Hospital as 'unremarkable.' Ordinary or not, I was not prepared for an encounter that would rip at the fabric of my soul. A doctor's son should have been better prepared but then again: this was not the kind of medicine my father practiced.
