The Fifth Crusade

The fifth crusade is several stories within one, taking place 300 years from now. In the back drop of a 26 hour battle between a christian commonwealth and an Islamic united states the reader follows four characters with different ideas about religion and faith. From the army grunt in the city to the fighter pilot in orbit and the rear admiral in charge of the fleet, all will have to face there own inner demons in the face of battle and death. Some will have their values strengthened while others will have them change. This is an authors attempt to study what happens when inner faith is tested against the hard realities of war and ones own death.
