5THE FUN-DA-MENTALS OF BASEBALL - SUPER STUFF  Jul 28, 2008
Henry Ford said "Nothing is particularly hard if you divide it into small parts." Ford was successful, and so is Blewett in this articulate, yet simply put, upbeat guide for middle school through high school players, girls and boys, as well as COACHES who want to coach even better, whether at school or Little League. There's a piece here, too, about fans.
Using his novel, unique, experienced (former major league player and youth coach now) approach to the fundamentals of the "Grand Old Game", Mike emphasizes that this is a FUN sport, while at the same time teaching bite-sized real life lessons of teamwork, self improvement and responsibility to others, especially their teammates. Filled with visual cues, history, and the details of what's REALLY going on out there, Mike reminds us that this IS a THINKING game as well. This is an altogether fascinating, energetic, valuable gift to share with friends, family, fellow players and that baseball nut next door for their birthday or for no reason at all, other than just to say "PLAY BALL!

Great information from a former player who truly loves the game, and wants to help others to feel the same.
