Lovely book from a lovely woman Apr 25, 2009

I recently had the opportunity to meet Grandmother Mechi and hear her lecture about this book. She is a lovely woman with a kind and gentle spirit. The book is very interesting and teaches us meditations to use to help heal the earth and all our relations (animals, plants, etc.). I love Mechi's style of writing, it is very engaging and easy to relate to. She has a good sense of humor. The book is also very touching and will help you to look at all living things around you in a different way.

This is a great book with meditation exercises to help us really connect with the essence of Mother Earth. It is only from an experience of Mother Earth as a living being not an inanimate object that we can begin to treat her better than we have in the last 200 years. This book helps us to make a shift in our feeling, which will result in a shift in our action effortlessly. It does not preach or lecture the reader, it is just a book that helps to open our hearts to the mother. As a result it does not point the finger of blame that can be so difficult for many to handle. If everyone read this book we would all take effective action to resolve the ecological crisis.
