The Garden of Happiness: Cultivating True and Lasting Happiness in Life

God's plan is for your life to be filled with happiness. Not just some kind of "spiritual joy" that has no real evidence, but an authentic happiness that others can see in your everyday life. Yet many Christians are sadly lacking true happiness. In The Garden of Happiness, Kenneth Myers uses the analogy of a garden to demonstrate the cultivation of biblical and realistic happiness in life. Filled with Scripture, great stories, and common sense thinking, this easy-to-read book is a guide to help you grow your own lush garden of happiness.

This is a great book by a man who has a heart to truly understand the heart of God.

2Disappointed  Aug 25, 2008

I was disappointed in this rather short un-inspiring book (more like a booklet). The title captivated my interest - the analogy of cultivating happiness seemed like it would be an interesting read. Unfortunately this seemed like a long winded drawn out sermon to me that didn't contain a lot of depth about happiness. Just a bunch of personal stories that didn't connect well with the title or the image it portrayed.

4How do you find yourself be happy and have happiness  Aug 11, 2008
By Gerald Frimann "JerrFrim"
I have know the author for many years now and he is impecable in his researh and knowlege of words truth and explanations of such and this book will get your heart to beating again if you have the need and who don't. Easy to read with the telling of stories with the bibical backing. It really talks of all the needs to have hope in your life.I recommend this to everyone. Don't hang up one any one point, read it all....Remember we still all have needs and Kenneth Myers has those needs also. Say a prayer for him.
