This Book is Full of Great Advice! Sep 04, 2007

Everyone should have a copy of this book near at hand. The advice is smart, yet simple. I actually used the words in Anne's book to approach a person at work I was having a problem with, and the words worked perfectly! We get along great now. I keep finding situations that come up where the advice works. I'm going to give it as a gift to family and friends. Everyone will find a good use for The Gift of Words. Also, the original art is a nice touch.

This is a great book! For those of us who routinely have a case of 'Foot in Mouth' problem, this book provides a great guide for an alternative choice of words for all sorts of situations applicable to everyday life.

I can not recommend this book more highly. It not only gives expert advice for every potentially awkward situation, but it also is filled with the author's original art. I'm giving this book to several of my friends for Christmas!

I liked this book because it was specific to certain situations. Having
an example of when and how I could say things, keeps me from being
tongue tied and unprepared. I also liked the fact that it was a fun
read, even if I was never in any of those situations. Already giving
these books away as Christmas gifts.
