5Refreshingly authentic view of a faith journey  May 10, 2010
By Ken Hagler
There are far too many blogs, sermons and especially books regarding what a "successful" Christian life looks like. The Glory of a Wasted Life is NOT one of those books and I am so thankful for it. Without backing down from the difficulties and struggles, Christ John Otto, paints a concise and compelling portrait of his faith journey.

This is not a book for the faint of heart or who faint from the reality that people who follow after Jesus Christ, often struggle and know more about pain than we like to admit. Christ strips those ideas away and shares from his own journey how God meets humanity in the midst of our brokenness not in our boastfulness. I am certain there is more that Christ can share and hope that he does so for his writing and wisdom are truly a refreshingly authentic view of the faith journey.
