Great for daily quiet time reading Jan 01, 2009
By N. Scaggs Mr. Boswell writes a narrative about his life experiences as a missionary in the nation of Peru. Gringo Cholo starts out by detailing how Mr. Boswell was energized with the Holy Spirit and was called to serve abroad. His touching personal experience about being born again in the beginning of the book grabs your attention immediately. The book then goes into the many experiences he and his family had in the mission field, including the many trials they had to face in spreading the Gospel. By the end of the book, it is clear how Mr. Boswell was able to overcome all the challenges he had because he was always protected by God.
This book was well written and is an easy read. It is great to use during daily devotions as it has many scripture verses through out. I would read a chapter a day in addition to other scripture.
