Caleb Whitby and his younger sister Phaedra live in the small town that is home to the old Carstairs House; the old house rumored to be haunted. The Haunted House A Good Story for Kids Feb 07, 2006

I got this book for my grandson and he really liked it. I read it out of curiosity and found that there were a number of valualbe lessons about peer pressure and growing up included in the story. There was also a fair bit of mystery and adventure. All the kids were believable.

I am a mother of two children who thoroughly enjoyed the book. I read it to my children. They loved it! The book was easy to read and flowed nicely. The story was very exciting. I look forawrd to reading another book by D.M. O'Connor.
