Great book May 16, 2008

This book is a great read. I have been to SIU several times and completely agree that it is a paradise. Such a fun town with a whole different atmosphere then anywhere else I've visited. I would have loved to go to one of Rich's parties. I was a fan of Rich's art before I read the book. After learning about his life and experiences I now look at his art from a different view and it makes it even better. You will learn that Rich is not a man that will ever give up which is great for us as we can expect a lot more to come.

Inspiring and entertaining May 09, 2008

This book is life inspiring. It is an american experience of a hard union working man with values that seem to be escaping todays work ethic. It is entertaining and sexy. I couldn't put the book down.

Digging up Gold. Aug 27, 2010
By Mike Campbell "TheManInTheCUBE" Richard Cronborg excavates the years and decades of his Life revealing unexpected truths and beauty much like a machine operator doing dirt work in clay sometimes unearths an unexpected swirl of colors with his blade. Cronborg shows that beneath the prose of our lives -- the first car, college parties, first time jobs, carousing dates, marriages, fatherhood, family, layoffs, losses , failures, victories, illnesses, and deaths --there is a hidden crisp poetry. And, it's worth our time to read it.
I couldn't put the book down, but had to sleep so I set my clock to get up 90 minutes early the next morning so I could finish this treasure
