Very entertaining. I was able to finish the book over a weekend. Once you start, can't put it down. Lots of twists and turns that keeps you guessing. Really enjoyed the references to the bay area. Felt like I was in the city with Roy. The characters were well developed and felt real. Fun Book!

The Judas Star was a great read. I started it, and could not put it down. The Main character Roy Jobe was very compelling, the kind a guy you would like to hang out with as long as you were on his good side. Intriguing, dangerous, sexy, and dedicated to his job. Rob Weaving's use of description was amazing I never read a book that was more detailed and specific, I was able to imagine, see and feel every aspect of Roy Jobe's journey. Based in the Bay Area (California) where I grew up, I could easily put myself in the places where this novel took place. San Francisco, China Town, Alcatraz etc. Can't wait to see what Roy Jobe get's himself mixed up with next.
Great Read Apr 16, 2008
By W. Mifsud Great book! very entertaining plot that keeps you guessing. I couldn't put it down and had it read in a few lunch breaks. Bob creates a varied cast of believable characters which have you winding through the streets of San Francisco and other beautifully described bay area locales. Can't wait for the next Roy Jobe adventure!

Awsome Jan 23, 2008
By Edwin B. Armstrong Couldn't put it down. Starts fast and accelerates from there.
Brilliant ripostes followed by knife-in-the-spine comebacks. Plot weaves like a complex Persian carpet, with each thread serving as an imperative piece of the puzzle. Roy Jobe is a detective of the present, wielding Web searches and a .38 Police Special with equal aplomb. Hurry up and write the next one!
