The Key To The Men's Room: What Men Talk About When Women Aren't Around

Here at last is a book that invites women to eavesdrop as men share their pride and pain, hopes and fears, failures and triumphs as they laugh, cry, fight, and learn how to be better men. None had any clue how deeply the work of this group would affect every aspect of their lives--from lingering childhood wounds, to their relationships with themselves and their present and future partners.

4A good study  Nov 07, 2008
A support group for men - an excellent idea. It was interesting to follow the progress of these men and the group. I really appreciated the review of who's who at the beginning of chapters; as the book covers a number of years I think I would have lost track of an individual's progress without this help. That the group really works indicates a great deal of work on the part of the individuals; that the group continues over time shows that it is indeed helpful to its members. A fascinating study.

4Access to the Inner Circle  Oct 15, 2008
Reading much of the book was like being a fly on the wall of a most interesting -- and insightful process. The men of the group deal with so many issues facing men of all ages: sex, relationships, death, friendships, work and the joy of living. To see these men progress as the years pass, was insightful and helped to give me perspective on my own relationships.

5The Key unlocks men's secrets  Oct 02, 2008
I learned more about men from reading this book than from all my dating experience combined. At first, I was surprised that aspects of the men in this group seemed so familiar, but soon realized that was because Solin had served up slices of universal male behavior. It's clear that he's really walked the walk through his own and other men's hearts and minds and discovered what makes relationships work.
