A better way! Feb 18, 2010
By P. Smith I highly recommend this book to those people who will be going through chemotherapy or to those who are already in the throws of chemotherapy. My husband is currently receiving IPT, Insulin Potentiation Therapy and he is doing so based on the results of the German Test which is also described in this book. This treatment uses FDA approved chemo but at a dose considerably smaller than used by traditional oncologists. As a result the side effects are either none or considerably less. This book has given us renewed hope. We only wish that more doctors would break out of their box and look beyond ordinary chemo therapy, fight for their patients and stand up to the FDA, AMA, and Big Pharma.

Important information Nov 02, 2011

I recently asked my Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) if there is anyone he knows that is having success against cancer, as a friend has been diagnosed with metastatic melanoma. He said IPT is showing great success and there are a few treatment centers within four to five hours of our location (north-central WV). I had read about IPT before on [...] and in Bill Henderson's book Healing Cancer Gently, but didn't know a lot about IPT. I got this book to find out more, and did I ever! The stories in the book come from different doctors and patients describing their experiences with IPT. Not all the outcomes are rosy, but the doctors are obviously very knowledgeable of the human body, cancer, and their chosen craft. The explanation of how cancer cells are able to take their chosen food, glucose, from the rest of the body's cells and the sheer craftiness of these cancer cells is fascinating. Even more fascinating is how IPT turns the cancer cells' biggest strength into their biggest weakness, using insulin and fractional doses of chemotherapy to kill the cancer cells and save the healthy cells! I also like that IPT incorporates healing through immune system repair and replenishment and employs true knowledge of a mind/body/spirit connection. Truly a holistic approach to healing which has been in use for over 70 years. A must-read for anyone considering integrative cancer therapy.
