"heart to heart"
The Kindness Tree is a story of giving and receiving, which is simple, entertaining and compelling in the learning that can be garnered when families share the experience of the protagonist Rosie and her acts of kindness. The presentation of the story, creative and easy to understand,reflects the insight and warmth of the author. I strongly recommend this book for all children...and adults!

The Kindness Tree
The Kindness Tree is a wonderful story with beautiful illustrations that leaves a lot to ones imagination. Animals, nature, brilliant colors and acts of kindness work together to engage and excite young minds. The book also has a parent's guide in the back to encourage more discussion and activities. This isn't just a read-and-put-down book, it's one that will be fun to reference for many years!

This book makes my heart sing!!! Family,community, globally-more then ever we need kindness and thoughtfulness to be integral to our lives. Sharon Becker does a superb job inviting us into the rain forest where we are privy to the joy arising out of simple acts of kindness. The visuals are magnificent,beautiful. Both you and your child will love this book! The message is so cleverly delivered in this story. The illustrations are eye capturing. I will be giving as a gift to many of my daughter's friends and relatives.
