The Krrack Encounter Dec 27, 2009
By RD Shaffer
"RD"
The book had a some challenges in the dialog of the Krrack inhabitents. I had some memory issues in remembering how to prounounce the names and the level of authority that each character held; however, as I entered more of the depth of the story line, the nomenclature became more familier. The dialog of the corporate crew was easier to follow but that may be due to familier discussion points contained in their interactions. Overall, I liked the book and for a first time author, Mr. Woodard may have hit upon a good formula.

Not a Sci-Fi fan but..... Dec 30, 2009
By Gayleemae I don't usually read Sci-fi type of books but I really enjoyed this one. I really liked how the story line was written from both the human's and the alien's ships. I found myself excited to read on to find out how one ship responded to the actions of the other ship. I thought the flow was natural and easy to follow. The pronnunications page of the Krracts characters was very helpful so I didn't get hung up with the terminology. After the 1st chapter I was able to easily read the characters' names without much further thought. I felt the storyline was interesting and I am excited to see what the next book might bring.
The Krracks Encounter Jan 12, 2010
By K. Gooseff The Krracks Encounter is a very good book. I really enjoyed the story been told from both the human's point of view, and also from the Krracks point of view. This makes the Krracks relatable and not just the faceless enemy of the humans. Since neither the humans or the Krracks know nothing about each other, it is amazing what fear can do and how it effects the decisions that are made. I'm really looking forward to the sequel, as I want to see what happens in the future.

A MUST read. Jan 16, 2010
By Jonathan M Woodard From page one this book grabs you and then it's hang on and enjoy the ride. Every page you turn leaves you wanting more as the action is nonstop and both crews are always seconds from disaster. Whether you like scifi or not this book is a must read. This book became one of my new favorites.
