The Last Ferry To Clover Bay

A romp through the mind of Dr. C. Thomas Mallory, elicit genius that is involved with giving the truth about UFOs, Roswell and the Secret Government to everyone that will listen. His friends include a dumbfounded lawyer, a beautiful Alien Princess, a phase changing black and white cat and a bunch of other characters that stand alone. Filled with sarcasm and abuse toward the "unwashed" masses, Mallory, is trying to bring the light of knowledge to the world while fighting the government that wants to suppress it. Light hearted and funny as can be. The tongue in cheek humor is bitting and caustic. A required book for all those on the fringe, or for those that would like to be on the edge of reality.

5A fun book  Nov 22, 1999

This is a very funny and entertaining book, and also a surprisingly touching story. Thank you, Dr. Haley, for this unlikely but devoted circle of friends.

5Quite the fun read  Apr 24, 2008
By Jason C. Goodmanson
This review is only four years late. I was given a copy of Dr. Haley's book as a thank you gift stemming from a business relationship with the sole task of thanks that I would write a short review.

I just finished reading this book for the second time - and it was just as good the second as it was the first - possibly even better.

Dr. Haley caputures quite a bit of the charm of living in the Pacific Northwest (so many accurate quotes about the heat waves of Washington,) and then you factor in a cast of characters that seem familiar at first glance, but have the power to totally surprise you the next page over.

Full of humor and an egaging story, this book is perfect for fans of science fiction, without the snooty science fiction, and of amazing adventures. Sort of like a combination of Good Omens, Indiana Jones and Cheers.

5The Last Ferry to Clover Bay  Jun 14, 2003

The entire family loved this book. It kept you captive from start to end. I didn't want to put it down (just had to know what was going to happen next). I'm only sorry it took me so long to place my review because I truelly enjoyed this book. I am anticipating the release of the next book.

5hilarious, irreverent, provacative, an intergalactic riot  Apr 14, 1999

The most fun I've had with a book in quite a while - I laughed out-loud throughout. The characters are unbelievable, yet at the same time uncannily real. The plot is twisted, the dialogue is witty and the ending while quite satisfying, leaves one waiting for the next adventure. Type faster Dr. Haley!!!

5Pure fun....but you'd better think about it!  Apr 10, 1999
By pamc@casagrande.com
If you think you know about UFOs and conspiracy theory, you're about two steps behind this cast of characters! No place (and no one) will ever be quite the same after Mallory and his friends arrive in your backyard (or library).

I highly recommend reading it once, wait a bit, and try again, you'll be surprised at your enlightenment the second time around.

I sincerely hope the author is preparing for our next journey with "the lady, the professor" and anyone who wants to come along for the ride.
